About The AnnikaH Foundation
The AnnikaH Foundation is a privately funded charitable trust supporting children and families impacted by rare genetic epilepsies.
The Foundation was established by a UK-based family whose young daughter lives with a severe form of epilepsy caused by a rare de novo genetic mutation. Through their own experience, the family understands the impact that severe epilepsy can have on a child, their parents, siblings and wider family life.
For children with severe forms of epilepsy, the challenges can be significant. Many experience frequent, drug-resistant seizures, developmental difficulties and complex, lifelong medical needs.
The Foundation was created to help turn that experience into positive action.
Our purpose
The AnnikaH Foundation provides funding to organisations and projects that support severely disabled children, particularly those affected by epilepsy and complex needs.
We focus on practical, carefully considered support that can make a genuine difference to children and families.
How we work
How we work
The Foundation is privately funded and does not accept public donations.
Instead, we work with carefully selected organisations whose work aligns with our mission. This helps ensure that funding is used responsibly and reaches projects with the ability to create meaningful impact.
The AnnikaH Foundation was founded in 2023 and is a registered Charitable Trust.

“Our goal is to improve the lives of children and families touched by rare forms of epilepsy. We understand the challenges first-hand – the relentless seizures, the uncertainty and the search for treatments. Our mission is to turn that experience into action by providing support to families facing the same journey.”
